An electronic signboard in the dealing room of Hana Bank in Seoul shows the benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) having dropped 49.77 points, or 2.13 percent, to close at 2,292.01 on July 6, 2022. It was the first time the KOSPI hit below 2,300 since Oct. 30, 2020, amid worries over a global economic recession. (Yonhap)
