This photo, provided by Korea Post, shows a stamp featuring the late American missionary Homer Hulbert (1863-1949), who came to Korea in 1886 and served as an aide to Emperor Gojong of the Korean Empire (1897-1910), issued on Aug. 12, 2022, three days ahead of Liberation Day marking Korea's independence from Japanese colonial rule (1910-45).
