Lifting mask mandate

Students shedding their masks and others wearing them attend a class at an elementary school in the southeastern city of Daegu on Jan. 30, 2023, as the government lifted the indoor mask mandate on the day that had been in place amid the coronavirus pandemic. People are still required to wear masks on public transportation and at hospitals. (Yonhap)
