Visitors look at dolls on display during the 25th Nanseolheon Cultural Festival at the Heo Gyun and Heo Nanseolheon Memorial Park in Gangneung on the east coast on June 10, 2023. Heo Nanseolheon was a Korean painter and poet of the mid-Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910). She also was an older sister of Heo Gyun, who is said to be the author of the first Korean-language novel titled "The Tale of Hong Gil-dong." (Yonhap)
